It's more fun in Math 1!

 

                                                                  I miss the times when math was still as simple and easy [first     picture]. No variables. Just plain numbers and operations. Just a little computation (even mental math) will do. Math was easier during my elementary days.
                        Math 1 [second picture], or shall I say, "Elementary Algebra", is way too different from the lessons in math which were taught in elementary (especially in grade one. :D). Even though it is somewhat hard, I still manage to enjoy it.
                        But now, I prefer Math 1. Even though it's "more complicated" than elementary math, it is more fun.

P.S. I used those pictures because....uhm.....because.....I don't know.

TETRiS AND MATH

As I was thinking of something to post in my photo blog, I suddenly realize that I was already playing tetris. Then I said to myself (in my head only), "What if I relate math to tetris?". Then, I was like, "Yeah. It's a good idea. I'll do it na." And then, I searched for pictures then wrote captions then typed it then blah blah blah... Haha.

So much of that one. Let's go now to the "relating" part.


Tetris requires strategy and so does math. In tetris, you need to do everything just to clear all the lines [or maybe not]. You need to estimate or calculate where the termino will fall. It needs to be accurate and precise [Integrated Science lang ang peg? Haha]. You need to focus on what you are doing or else... I don't know. >:)

 In math, for example in algebra, you need to isolate the variables in order for you to get the value of the variable. You just have to simplify then transpose. The, voila! you now have the value of the variable [I know it's not that easy :3].

Most people think that math is hard. Even I, think that it is. Before. But the truth is, it is the total opposite. As what i have heard before [from Mr./Ms. SomeonewhoIcannotremember xD], "Math does not make simple things complicated. It makes complicated things simple."

Math and tetris are somewhat the same. They may sound hard at first, but, if you really know the do's and dont's,  you will find them easy, fun and interesting.

*yawn* Well, that's all. :D Sorry if it's not that interesting.

This song, Common Denominator, can tell that math is relatable to almost everything in this world. Let's say that math is an open statement. Math is a variable in this given statement. Education is the answer. Without math, it would not be complete.

Mathematics

Mathematics, one of the favorite subjects of many people, is not as hard and complicated as we think it is. Yes, it deals with many numbers and symbols, but it is fun and useful in our daily lives. We use math when we buy things. Solving mathematical problems and equations is not hard and a waste of time. We can enjoy it and at the same time, we can also learn. Math is not a monster so we shouldn't be scared or afraid of it.
